Note for DDB users
The utilisation of DDB and Soothill & Hodous has been improved by end April in order to provide a link to full DDB and show DDB and Soothill in one page - and provide when possible various Chinese transcriptions of the same Sanskrit words. It seems that this was not clear enough. The current version tries to make it more direct. Click on the DDB tags for links to full DDB. Any comments are welcome. |

While reading the book is nice, finding the lesson related to a given character is more tedious: one has to go through several indexes, starting with the traditional variant (there were no simplified characters when the book was written). The site does all this search for you with just a mouse click (please refer to the book for the content of the lessons).
